🌟 Parent Orientation

When you register your child, we’ll provide a full tour of the centre and introduce you to our staff and classrooms. You’ll receive a Parent Handbook outlining important topics like:

  • Guidance and discipline

  • Health and safety

  • Medication and herbal remedies

  • Accident/incident procedures

  • Child pick-up and release policy

These policies will be reviewed with you, and we’ll ask you to sign a copy to confirm your understanding, along with a parent contract.

🌿 Outdoor Play

Children enjoy daily outdoor play year-round (weather permitting). Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the season.

💛 Inclusion & Cultural Respect

We warmly welcome and support all families and celebrate the uniqueness of every child. We strive to reflect a variety of cultures, traditions, and languages in our programming and ensure that activities are inclusive and respectful. If your family does not participate in specific holidays or customs, let us know—we’re happy to offer alternative activities.

✨ Program & Activities

All activities are thoughtfully designed to match the developmental stages of the children. We focus on hands-on, creative learning rather than "cookie-cutter" crafts. Our goal is to spark imagination, not limit it!

❤️ Sensitive to Family Needs

We understand that holidays or special events can be financially or emotionally challenging for some families. We do our best to avoid activities that place extra pressure on parents and are always here to offer support.

🔄 Transitions Between Classrooms

When your child is ready to move up to the next age group, we’ll help them transition gradually. Short visits to the new classroom allow your child to get comfortable, and you’ll have time to meet the new educators and ask questions.

🤝 Children with Diverse Abilities

We proudly welcome children with a range of abilities. If your child has specific needs, we’ll do everything we can to provide a supportive environment, including connecting with local services and specialists when needed. Additional costs for support services may be the responsibility of the family.

🔐 Child Release Policy

Children are only released to people authorized in writing.

To ensure the safety and security of all children in our childcare facility, we have established the following pick-up procedures:

Authorized Pick-Up List: Parents/guardians must provide a list of authorized individuals who are permitted to pick up the child. Only those individuals listed on the authorization form will be allowed to collect the child from the facility. A signature will be required to drop off and pick up the child.

Identification Requirement: Any individual picking up the child must present a valid photo identification matching the name on the authorized pick-up list. This measure helps us ensure that the child is released only to the correct person.

Informing Staff: Parents/guardians must inform the childcare facility in advance if someone other than those on the authorized pick-up list will be picking up the child. Staff will require verbal confirmation before releasing the child to the designated person.
