Targeting priorities of infancy such as secure attachment emotional well-being, and sensory, and motor development, our curriculum and resources provide the support you need to ensure your infant will thrive. Examples include:
- Quiet time: Our qualified educators will sit with children on the carpet and play quiet games such as reading, singing nursery rhymes softly, etc
- Music and Movement activities – exploring different instruments, music, and dance with scarves and fingerplays
- Sensory-rich activities – water play, bubble play, and exploration of paint
- Social outdoor exploration for baby/ toddler+educators
Our goal at KEE ACADEMY is to foster authentic and meaningful learning experiences that promote creativity, critical thinking, and self-expression. Therefore, we prioritize hands-on, child-led activities that encourage exploration and problem-solving, allowing children to actively construct their knowledge and develop a deep understanding of the world around them. By valuing the process over the final product, we celebrate each child’s unique abilities and interests, promoting a lifelong love for learning.
Parent Fee Reduction Amounts
Your eligible subsidy amount is not based on family household income, unlike other programs. It is based on the age of your child and whether they’re in full- or part-time care.
This will help more families afford the childcare they need and help their children get an educational head-start in life. Previously, this program offered up to $350 in subsidies to BC families. As of December 2022, the subsidy is increasing by 201% to a maximum of $900 per child, per month. In addition, you can combine this with other child care subsidies you also qualify for, including the Affordable Childcare Benefit.

Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (CCFRI)
The Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (CCFRI) is a provincially funded child care subsidy program that provides funds to eligible, licenced child care providers to reduce and stabilize child care costs for families. Parents of children up to Kindergarten age who use licensed childcare providers can save up to $900 per month per child in monthly tuition fees.
Parents do NOT need to apply to access this BC daycare subsidy. If your child is enrolled in our academy, they will automatically get the discount.
